In Enterprise Wide Licensing, in addition to the Primary WebLM server, a secondary WebLM server called Master WebLM server is installed. The Primary WebLM server and the Master WebLM server cannot be installed on the same system.
Avaya IR contacts the Master WebLM server if it cannot contact the Primary WebLM server, or if a license request generated by Avaya IR is not fully granted by the Primary WebLM server. In case the Primary WebLM server grants only a part of a request generated by Avaya IR, the Avaya IR system will request the Master WebLM Server for the remaining number of ports.
If Primary WebLM server is unavailable, the Avaya IR system will send the request for all the ports to the Master WebLM server.
