Use this procedure to correct diagnostic failures for the system
after you have sent test packets:
- On the Test Packet results page, click Cancel.
The system displays the Send & Receive Test Packets From
page.
- Verify that the IP address you entered into the IP Address field
is correct:
- If it does not match, re-enter the correct address and repeat
the Transmitting test packets procedure.
- If it matches, continue with Step 3.
- Click Cancel until you reach the TCP/IP Administration
and Diagnostics page.
- Readminister network addressing.
- Attempt the test again. If the test is successful, continue
with Verifying the IP address for remote machines.
If the test fails a second time, contact your remote support center.
