You can view the following types of packet statistics when performing
TCP/IP diagnostics:
Viewing LAN interface packet statistics
The Interface Packet Statistics page displays data concerning
traffic on the integrated network interface card. Use this page
to identify problems occurring with the integrated network interface
card and the network.
To view the LAN interface packet statistics:
- Start at the Administration menu, and select Diagnostics
> TCP/IP Diagnostics > View Packet Statistics
The system displays the View Packet Statistics page.
- Select interfaces from the Statistics Option
drop-down menu.
- Click Save.
The system displays the View Packet StatisticsTCP/IP Diagnostics
page. If the system indicates a problem with the network, contact
your LAN administrator.
Viewing LAN detailed packet statistics
The Detailed Packet Statistics page displays a detailed description
of the system packet information and error conditions on a per-protocol
basis.
To view the LAN detailed packet statistics:
- Start at the Administration menu, and select Diagnostics
> TCP/IP Diagnostics > View Packet Statistics
The system displays the View Packet Statistics page.
- Select detailed from the Statistics Option
drop-down menu.
- Click Save.
The system displays the View Packet StatisticsTCP/IP Diagnostics
page. Use the scroll bar to view the entire report.
Viewing LAN routing packet statistics
The Routing Packet Statistics page displays the network routing
table for the system. Gateway names, network base addresses, and
interface types are available on this page.
To view the LAN routing packet statistics:
- Start at the Administration menu, and select Diagnostics
> TCP/IP Diagnostics > View Packet Statistics.
The system displays the View Packet Statistics page.
- Select routing from the Statistics Option drop-down menu.
- Click Save.
The system displays the View Packet StatisticsTCP/IP Diagnostics
page.
