If you make a mistake deleting
a remote machine, you can add the deleted machine back to the
local Avaya™ S3400 Message Server by running a series of audits.
This procedure is only possible until the nightly audit on the day
you delete the machine. After the nightly audit runs, the deleted
machine cannot be retrieved.
To retrieve a deleted remote machine:
- Start at the Messaging Administration main
menu and select:
Global Administration
Messaging Administration
The system displays the SSH User Authentication
dialog box. Enter your login, for example, sa or vm, in the User name field
and your password in the Password field. Click Login. The system then
displays the Messaging command prompt screen.
- At the enter
command prompt, enter each of the following commands in order:
- audit network-data
- audit subscriber-data
- audit names
After each entry, the system runs an audit and then returns to
the command prompt.
- Enter another administrative command at the enter command
prompt or click Return to Main.
