This topic describes how to remove software from the Message Storage
Server (MSS).
To remove software from the MSS:
- Start at the Messaging Administration main
menu and select:
Utilities
Software Management
Software
Removal
The Software Removal screen displays.
- Select the check box next to the high-level messaging system
packages that you want to remove.
- Click Submit to remove the selected packages.
After selecting Submit, a complete list of packages to be removed
is displayed for confirmation. This list is displayed in package
priority order. If no packages were selected, a message indicating
this appears.
- Click Proceed with removal to remove the selected packages.
The server displays software removal output. This output can
be reexamined either upon completion or at a later time through
the Installation/Removal Logs Display page. See Viewing
software installation and removal logs for more information.
When the removal process is complete, its status is reported.

Click Return to Main to return to the Messaging Administration main
menu.
