Recording prompts for the caller application

You can record prompts and greetings for your caller application. These are the prompts that are played to callers when they access the caller application.

Note: If you have not configured the MAS to use telephone or multimedia access, you must do this before you continue. See the Recording prompts for details of how to do this.

To record prompts for the caller application:

  1. Click the caller application node and right-click to display the menu.
  2. Click Properties from the menu.
  3. The system displays the Caller Application dialog box.

  4. Click the Prompt tab.
  5. Select the Play entry prompt check box.
  6. This enables the voice controls on this page.

  7. To add a new prompt, click the Add icon .
  8. Caller Applications Editor creates a list entry for the prompt.

    Tip: When entering a description, it is useful to enter the exact words that you are to record.
  9. Enter a descriptive comment for the prompt. (The prompt number is generated automatically.)
  10. Click Record, and record the prompt.
  11. When you have finished recording, click Stop.
  12. Click OK.
