MSS-S drive cage cabling

The location of the IDE connectors changes depending on the type of motherboard that is installed:

Nonintegrated video and LAN model

1 Disk drive and DVD-RAM drive power connectors
2 80-pin IDE ribbon cable to the DVD and upper drive (hdc) and secondary IDE (SEC IDE) connector on the motherboard
3 80-pin IDE ribbon cable to the lower hard drive (hda) and primary IDE (PRI IDE) connector on the motherboard

 

Integrated video and LAN model

1 Disk drive and DVD-RAM drive power connectors
2 80-pin IDE ribbon cable to the DVD and upper drive (hdc) and secondary IDE (SEC IDE) connector on the motherboard
3 80-pin IDE ribbon cable to the lower hard drive (hda) and primary IDE (PRI IDE) connector on the motherboard
