In Release 3, an S3400-family MAS supports 1 D/600JCT-1E1 QSIG
board, or up to 2 D/480JCT-1T1 QSIG boards, depending on the TUI.
For more information about installing Dialogic QSIG boards, see
the appropriate Intel Dialogic document:
- Dialogic D/480JCT-1T1, see D480JCT
(pdf)
- Dialogic D/600JCT-1E1, see D600JCT
(pdf)
Note: The Dialogic documentation describes more setups than
the ones used for Avaya Modular Messaging. If information in a Dialogic
document conflicts with an Avaya document, follow the steps in the
Avaya documentation. You can use the Dialogic documentation to locate
various items on the board or verify cable connections.
For a new or replacement QSIG board, you must set only the unique
board ID for the port board.
Turn the rotary switch, located on the top of the board. Set
the board ID according to the slot number in which the port board
is installed. See the following table.
Insert Dialogic port boards in the PCI slots starting from the
outer edge of the chassis. See figure Messaging
Application Server (back view).
