MAS - CA - Properties - General - Transfer Action Type

The Properties dialog, General tab shows a different display, depending on the Action Type selected. See MAS - CA - Properties - General Tab.

Select the Transfer Action Type to transfer the caller to either the operator, a mailbox or an extension number, when a caller presses the associated key.

Fields that appear when the Transfer Action Type is selected:

Operator Select to transfer the caller to the operator.

Note: The operator can be either the default system operator or a personal (custom) operator. The settings for the caller application in the Properties dialog, Application tab determine which operator is used here. See MAS - CA - Properties - Application Tab.

Mailbox Select this option button to transfer the caller to the mailbox number specified in the adjacent field. Enter the mailbox number to which to transfer the caller.

The mailbox must be in the voice mail domain in which the caller application is deployed.

Provided by runtime Select to have the system automatically use the mailbox number at runtime. If this checkbox is selected, the Mailbox entry field is disabled.

The number is provided:

When the caller application has an Association that specifies a Mailbox number.

By a “Front Door” association (the subscriber mailbox has been configured to use the caller application). This association is set via the Caller Application field in the Local Subscriber Administration page.

Extension Select this option to transfer the caller to a specified extension number. You must enter the extension number in the adjacent field.
