VMSC - VMD - Dialing Rules - Telephony Dialing Rule Dialog Box |
The Telephony Dialing Rule dialog box allows you to configure dialing rules for local subscribers to dial originators of call-answer messages.
Each rule can be configured by specifying the number of digits in the dialing string, the starting digits, and whether the dialing rule should prepend the trunk, long distance or international dialing access codes.
To reach this dialog box, you must click the Dialing rules
button or
button on the General tab of the Dialing Rules dialog box (see VMSC - VMD - Dialing Rules Dialog Box).
When you press OK, the information in these fields appears in the Dialing rules list in the Dialing Rules dialog box.
If this field is left blank, it means that the rule applies to any digit string of the number specified in the Number Length field for which another rule for that length does not apply.
If none are selected, the dialing rule is set to ‘No dialing codes required’. If one or more is selected, the dialing rule shows the combination, for instance ‘User trunk, long distance and international access codes’.
