An Avaya Modular Messaging system supports up to 3 D/480JCT-2T1
QSIG boards or up to 2 D/600JCT-2E1 QSIG boards. For more information

Note: The Dialogic brochure covers more setups than
the ones used for Avaya Modular Messaging. If information
in a Dialogic document conflicts with this Avaya maintenance
document, follow the steps provided in the Avaya documentation.
The Dialogic documentation is provided as a convenience to
help you locate various items on the board, and to verify
cabling procedures.

To set the jumpers for a new or replacement QSIG board:
Set the unique board ID for the new card. Turn the rotary switch,
located on the top of the card, to set the board ID according to
the slot in which you are installing it. See the table below.
Insert Dialogic port boards in the PCI slots starting from the
outer edge of the chassis. See figure Messaging
Application Server (back view).
