Replacing an IDE ribbon cable (MAS)

The location of the primary IDE connector changes depending on the type of motherboard that is installed:

Nonintegrated video and LAN model

1	Connector to DVD drive
2	Connector to hard disk drive (hda)
3	Disk drive ribbon cable tie-down strap
4	Primary IDE connector

Integrated video and LAN model

1	Connector to DVD drive
2	Connector to hard disk drive (hda)
3	Disk drive ribbon cable tie-down strap
4	Primary IDE connector
