Use this screen to upload files from your computer to an Avaya media server using http protocol. Typical files to upload include:
license files (specify system features and capabilities)
Avaya authentication files (user and password information)
keys.install file (may optionally be used with network time servers)
announcements (for call-processing features)
IPSI firmware (for upgrading the IPSI circuit packs if needed)
To upload files from your computer to the Avaya media server:
In the main menu of the media server interface under Miscellaneous, click the Upload Files to Server (via browser) link.
On the Upload Files to Server screen, specify 1 to 4 files to upload.
You can type the complete path and filename in the File(s) to upload field. For example, on a Windows system you might type C:\My Documents\uploads\keys.install
If you mistype a file name, a 0-length file with that
name will be uploaded to the server.
Alternatively, you can browse for the file on your system as follows:
Click the Browse button. The Choose File dialog box appears.
Navigate to the desired directory and select the file.
Click Open. The selected file appears in the File(s) to upload text box.
Repeat the last two steps until up to four files have been selected.
When up to four files are listed on the Upload Files to Server screen, click Load File.
The Upload Files to Server results screen appears.
Confirm that the specified file(s) were uploaded successfully to the Avaya media server. If so, continue working with the web media server interface as needed.
If an error message appears, note the probable problem, then return to this screen to correct the problem.
