Hi, i could achieve making calls using JTAPI, i found it easier.

flynn1 Do you know if it is possible to send an audio to an active call? I want to play a recorded text to the person that answers the call.

Is it possible with JTAPI or even with DMCC?

You must use DMCC to be able to access the audio path.

I tried to run from DMCC, but i think i'm gonna need to use it.

For example: If i use DMCC to call you, when you answer the call, i could play a music at the call?

This is quite a broad question and I can only really give some hints. I am going to have to make some assumptions.

          1. I assume I (you in your question) am a customer and You are an agent using a station on Communication Manager.
          2. You have a softphone/deskphone - i.e. you are not using the DMCC terminal as a softphone.

This is a similar use case (though with more limitations) to using DMCC as a call recorder so you may find it helpful to google for this.

There are, I think, two ways to use DMCC to play music into a call.

          1. Use Multiple Registration to register a 'shadow' DMCC terminal of Your phone in Dependent mode. The application can then take control of the audio path and play music into the call. I don't think this will work for SIP stations, so I won't describe it any further.

          2. Use DMCC to monitor Your station and register a separate terminal in Main mode to ANOTHER, unused, station ID. When You call me and I answer, the application will detect this and can Conference the Other station into the call. Normally, an application would use Single Step Conference for this. Once in the call, the application can play music using the Other station.

I'm gonna give it a try then. Looks like a complicated thing do develop, but i think that it's the best way.

            Thanks, Martin.
