Maximum password length for G430/G450?

We have a client looking to update their G430 and G450 passwords to meet their security standards. They are aware that they can regulate the minimum password length and character requirements, but would also like to know the max character limit. I have combed through the 'Administering Avaya G430/G450 Branch Gateway" documents but have been unable to locate any confirmation of an upper character limit. Does anyone know first-hand what this limit might be, or have access to documentation with this information?

The environment is currently running CM R016x.03.x.

31 characters is the max. I tried adding a test user with a bunch of characters and was given the error that the max is 31.
