Officelinx/IXM Server Images

Is it safe and practical to create an image of a Windows Server running Officelinx/IXM and store it to a shared folder off server?

Will OL/IXM be restorable?

Should be ok for a standalone server. Not sure if restoring an image of a voice node or consolidated server in a multi-server setup would introduce synchronization issues between them.
