    Communicator audio settings reset for no reason

    We have had several users complain that their audio settings get reset from time to time, rendering their headset mute. They have to re-configure the headset again to get it working.

    They have not changed the PC or headset, no files have been deleted (xml files or anything else).

    Does anyone know of an explanation for why this would be occuring?

    Not sure which endpoint (softpphone/IP agent/onex communicaor /onex-agent) you are using. But if you didn't change the setting for these endpoints, the auto setting should be modified by main volume control on Windows platform. Please check if different agent shared the same PC and they used different profile and auto setting.
