Vaya Aura System Manager synchronization failure

I have installed the Vaya Aura System Manager on VMware 5.5 and utilized it to install Avaya Communication Manager 7. However, I encountered a synchronization failure. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Could be many reasons. Invalid login, wrong port/protocol, incorrect CM address. SMGR needs to access CM using a login with read access. I recommend using SSH port 5022. Use the CM virtual IP if duplex despite what the documentation says. Using individual IPs for each CM in the pair creates problems later for application sequencing.

FYI that Aura 7 is nearing 10 years old.
