    Wrong NTP Server

    Hello,

We currently have an issue with our CM system, where, even though we have setup the NTP servers, the time synch is going off the local. We have restarted the services, but it keeps going back to local after a couple of days. Has anyone else had this issue or knows what may be causing it? We have 4 other systems with the same setup and they do not have this problem.

    Thanks.

    CM 5.2.1
    Dual 8800 servers.

This is because of drift value. Linux System use different method of clock sync instead of windows system.
Its recommended that you use Linux NTP for Time Sync.

you can try to restart the CM Server & then check the status of the NTP.

try an ntpstat. it will show if ntp is running fine ("time correct to" should be within a second, and it should show you the ntp-server it is synchronising to).

        regards,
