Show info associated with incomming call's cellular number in Avaya Softphone

    Hello All!

I'm not sure whether I've chosen the right forum and whether my question is right but anyway let my explain the situation.
In some company's dispatch center dispatchers use Avaya Softphone which is run on Windows XP. When other worker calls to dispatcher it would be good to view his internal id (which is used within the company) or some other small pieces of info. Is there an ability to associate some information with cell phone number of incomming call in Softphone and then view it once dispatcher receives call?

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards, Andrew.

I am not sure , What exactly you are looking for,
But if Service provider is sending the information (UUI) then in CM you can look for below parameters.

1>> Check the " UUI IE Treatment " in trunk group page.
2>> Assign a UUI-info button to the softphone.

    Regards,

If EC500 is used, the dispatcher can receive the caller's extension number instead of the cell phone number. From the page 26 of the User's Guide at:

      https://origin-support.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/100089112

Extension to Cellular provides an optional office caller ID feature. This feature allows your cell phone to function like your office phone when making calls to other parties connected to your office phone system.

Your system administrator configures your cell phone to send office caller ID. Once the office caller ID feature is enabled, when you call parties who share your office phone system, their screen displays your name and office phone number, not your cell phone number.
