Building out my Lab at home and need to procure an inexpensive USB DVD Rom that is compatible with the S8300D to enable me to load System Platform.

Can anyone recommend a compatible "inexpensive" DVD ROM that works with an S8300D?

You can try any USB CD drive, it should work. I tried Samsung USB CD drive. It is working properly.

Sorry Bumping Thread as I would like to get an actual Model Number of an inexpensive off-the-shelf DVD Drive that works.
