9640G stuck at "discover" screen

    9640G stuck at "discover" screen

    I have one brand new 9640G that is stuck at the discover screen and then regularly reboots. I have another phone doing the same...it didn't start this until I entered the wrong login password. I cannot access any type of craft menu ( mute key, craft, #) or any combination of that.

    New phones may not be loaded with the latest software. Did you upgrade the 9640G to the latest (3.105S) software?

      Not aware of the version but will check. I have programmed several of these phones with just the two I mentioned having this issue. I am puzzled as to why the craft feature doesn't work...although I am not sure if settings in the server or the text files affect the craft feature. I am not the administrator for our Avaya system. I am a telecommunications tech that has been setting these phones up recently for the end users.
