CM communication issues

    CM communication issues

    I have newly installed Communication Manager 6.1 on S8300 (G450). System seems to operate in normal state, without any alarms. But when i use Avaya Site Administration it fails to connect (timeout). I also tried to use Avaya Native Administrator (built in CM java software), it says "connection to switch is timed out".
    What could cause such troubles, where should i dig further?

    It seems that i was trying to use wrong account for CM administration.
    I had to use one of the folowing:
    craft - not in my case
    dadmin - must be enabled first
    customer login - wich was created during installation process

      did you open the server access ports, like ssh or telnet ??

        SSH was opened by default in new instance of CM 6.
