    Enabling IMAP access to Voicemail

I would like to enable IMAP access into the system to pull VM messages by the email client.

IMAP was enable under System Administration, but when performing IMAP4 Connection Diagnostics, i get the following results.

ipcopen `tcp!10.xx.xx.xx!143` ipcgetsyserr: errno=111, mess=Connection refused can't connect: can't connect: Connection refused Trying 10.xx.xx.xx ... Opening connection to tcp!10.xx.xx.xx!143 What am I missing?

    Thanks

Is the user is using Outlook? Please verify the "external hosts" configuration is properly set as well as the user's email to have a new account created under "tools -> email account -> select IMAP from the list". Ensure that the user has been added from user lists in CMM..Hope this helps. Thanks

The error "Connection refused" indicates that the IMAP server at 10.xx.xx.xx is not accepting connections on port 143. Ensure that the IMAP service is actively running and listening on the correct IP address and port. Verify firewall settings to allow inbound connections to port 143 on the server. This should resolve the issue and allow IMAP access for pulling VM messages with your email client.

Check your email address. Try registering a new account. My first email failed to register but I tried another one and successfully created the user.
