    Redirect all calls from a specific extension to a specific extension

    We have a user who would like all calls from our security desk directed to his assistant. He does not want all of his calls directed to his assistant, nor do others in the organization want similar call handing. I am using Site Administration 6.0 and we are running a S8800.

    Any thoughts?

    Effectively looking to accomplish the following. For all calls placed from extension 1111 to extension 2222, reroute to extension 3333.

    You can convert the extension to VDN and in the Vector you can define if the ani is 1111 then route to another step else go to the Extension number xxxx(create and assign new extension in this case.

      Thanks for the guidance. I have not worked with vectors before, but have read a lot about them.

      The user would like to retain his existing extension. Am I correct that the vector based solution would require the user to have a second extension?
