CM Firewall Configuration

I have a query from a customer who wants to use the CM Firewall (IPTables) built into the Linux Core to restrict access to the CM adminstration of the CM, running CM5.x.

Is this possible and is it supported?

If it is possible I assume it would be done via command line and will require Root/suser privileges is that correct?

It is possible in CM 6 and is documented , on CM5.2.1 you need root access so Avaya need to do this as a PS offering , one option that I will try is build a cm 5.2.1 from scratch and try this before putting the auth file on the system , and feedback
