I have a remote site with a G450 with an S8300D as the LSP.
I am planning on upgrading the G450 from 6.3 to the latest version.
I would also like to upgrade the S8300D. This is where I get confused. What files and how to actually do the upgrade

What CM version are you running presently? CM 6.x runs on System Platform. If you're pre-6.x, you'll install a pre-upgrade patch that will make CM backups restorable on 6.x. Then, reimage the server with System Platform 6.3 and install the CM virtual machine template on top of it. There are different CM templates for server types and roles (main/LSP).
