Functionality of CDR Buffer

Hi,
I am Firnaz and I am new to this forum. I had open a ticket regarding loss of CDR Data. As per the engineer of ticket,

• The primary and secondary CDR have a common buffer.
• When primary CDR is down the buffer start to fill.
• After 100% fill of buffer secondary CDR not get data even the link is up.
• That is because secondary is getting data from common buffer and the common buffer there no space to new data.

The questions is, is there anyway to configure buffer after filling 100% remove the old data from buffer when new data comes?

But this is defeating the object , the buffer acts to keep a certain amount of historical data , it is up to you or your customer to ensure you have the equipment in place to continually collect the CDR data to avoid the buffer becoming full.

You can busy and release the cdr link to clear the buffer .
