    Failover testing for CM duplex

    - We have two DL360G7 servers using AVAYA aura CM 6.3 duplex, two Media gateways G450, 620 IP phones (9650, 1608, and 1608-I),
Juniper Edge Switches, and Juniper Core Switch.
    - We have configured the following:
    - In juniper switches ports: trunk port carry untagged packets (voice VLAN) simultaneously with the tagged packets (data VLAN)
    - In juniper Core switch: two DHCP pools (data & voice)
    - In Failover testing:
    - When we interchange between the servers in Avaya CM, we get the following results:
the active server go down and the standby server go up without any
delays or problems (As in the normal situation), but there is a delay (5-6 minutes) in registering
the IP phones with DHCP to the active server after using the interchange option.
please advice to solve the delay problem.

    Hello,

have you enabled TTS feature , i.e "near end establish TCP socket" in IP network region. If not, please enable this and test it again

Also make sure Phone and Media gateway Firmwares are up to date (to support Gratuitous ARP)

    regards
    Sunil
