Utility Server - DHCP Log Files.

Hello.

Utility Server goes very slow. Noted that file is too large on a sheet of DHCP Server Log. When you try to download it - not available. Size shows 4Gb.
How to clean the log in UtilityServer via ssh connection?

only a Tier 4 can clear the DHCP log files form the server

It is usually best to log a SR , so T4 can be engaged to clear the log file.

Logrotate is not enabled in the UTS. The issue can be fixed by utility server patch 6.1.0.8.8 upwards.

Other than that possible cause why the log file gets increased rapidly is some configuration mistake in the "dhcpd.conf" file so endpoints may send a dhcp request very frequently.

For a quick fix you can attempt to clear the file with your own risk.
Run shell command "echo /dev/null >dhcpd.log" to decrease the file size to 0.
