Analog fax issues using G450 and MM711

Using a G450 Gateway and a analog MM711 card and we are not able to send or receive faxes. The routing appears to be correct, the lines ring like they are supposed to but then errors out. Is there a setting somewhere in the G450 that I need to check?

    Hello,

Does your call flow include FOIP (fax over ip) ? , if yes, try changing the codec set to use T.38 and disable Modem.

also, make sure you Gateway has Time sync to one of the DS1 boards connected to Service provider.

    Regards

G450/G430: analog endpoint issues with Media Gateways delivered in autumn 2014

We have had issues with recently (autumn 2014) delivered Media Gateways which have more DSPs (MP120). We had initially downgraded them to match other Media Gateways in the system but calls involving analog endpoints failed to be associated with DSPs. We had to upgrade again the Media Gateway firmware, in our case to 35.8.0 to solve this.
