**** Anti Virus on CMs - Inquiry

Have a quick question, We are running Avaya version 8.1.3.8 on our CM, SM and SMGRs however **** AV only has partial packages installed and is not functional.

does Avaya provide **** AV as a download somewhere or would grabbing the latest version for RHEL 7 be sufficient enough to operate?

Want to do this right so I do not cause any failures on our systems here.

Aura 8.1 requires a software-only model to use AV. Per Avaya:

"Aura Release 8.0 and later supports software-only installation. In a software-only installation, the customer owns the operating system and must provide and configure the operating system for use with Aura® application. With the software-only offer, the customer can install and customize the operating system to meet the requirements to install the Aura® application. You must run the software-only offer on the supported environments to enable the use of hird-party applications for anti-virus, backup, and monitoring. By owning the infrastructure customers can deploy third party applications such as Antivirus and Monitoring applications of their choice with Aura® applications. Avaya does not provide any list of third party supported applications for a software only deployment as there are many and it's not feasible to test all of them with every release. In case of a support issue, to fix or isolate the issue Avaya Services may advise customers to remove these third-party applications if they suspect it to be causing issue. Also, Avaya does not guarantee that the performance benchmarks stated in product documentation will have no impact due to installation of these third-party applications."

Aura 10.2 natively supports Trellix AV: https://support.avaya.com/css/public...ents/101087761
