    Toll-Free Call Can't Route Off-Net Via Vector

I use two different carriers for local and long distance. The toll-free numbers that I have are from my long distance provider however I have them routed out local on my Avaya 6.3. The problem is the calls come in on the 800 numbers and then I have a step in the vector to route off-net with coverage yes. I have checked everything that I know of and can't find the problem. What I am getting is open dialtone when it hits that step in the vector to route the call off-net. However I can call the number from desk phone with no issues. Anyone got any suggestions. I have checked COR/COS tried changing my route patterns. I thinking it has to be something simple. Any help is appreciated? Thanks.

Do you really need vector processing?

    Morgan:

I'm afaid that your question raises more questions in my mind. Unless you need vector processing functionality you needent do it the way you explained. All your carrier needs is a ring to number (RTN). The RTN can even belong to another carrier. If you need the vector and a vector routing dable (VRT) to route call based on dialed number information system (DNIS) digits before they are lost, I can understand that.

This brings an additional thing to mind. I do not recommend using two carriers for this "loss of DNIS issue." The problem is that carriers do not pass the DNIS digits from one to the other. If you have redundancy concerns, many carriers will alay those concerns by providing a second connection (DEMARK) from a second point of presense (POP).
    Thank you,

on page 1 of your system-parameters features is trunk to trunk transfer enabled.

also would be useful to see a trace as this could also be ars/aar related
