    Utility Server and CDR

Trying to switch over and use CM 6.3 Utility Server for CDR. Followed the step in Appendix C: Configuring CDR on CM. I'm not getting an CDR logs over at the Utility Server. Currently sending CDR to a Windows syslog server.

I created an account on CM that has CDR rights. I changed the CDR system parameters to output to DISK. On Utility Server I entered the username and password I created on CM and enabled password mode. I then started the daemons.

Not sure what logs to use to troubleshoot. It seems like the CDR account I created has logged in. Utility Server is at latest service pack.

It appears I have CDR now working to our Utility Server. I waited as suggested in the IAUG and in time the CDR records started to show up. However before that happened. I had to adjust my system CDR setting on CM, page 2, to match the Utility Server setup guide I was following. My record length was 81. The setup example in the guide was 120. After making that change in a short time CDR records started to be collected.

Hi, I'm curious what Utility Server setup guide you referenced that explains cdr setup? I've not found such a guide and am having issues with the date/time format.

      Thanks,

I found it on the Avaya documents support site. I think I even found it by using Google search with the title above.
