    IPSI- abnormal ping result

Each exclaimation is seperated with a period. Is this normal ? Speed/Duplex settings is set to 100M/full at both end of the physical link.

    blr-sa-itep0401#ping 172.25.66.91

    Type escape sequence to abort.
Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 172.25.66.91, timeout is 2 seconds:

    Success rate is 40 percent (2/5), round-trip min/avg/max = 1/4/8 ms

I think an exclamation point indicates a reply. I'd console into the IPSI and doublecheck the speed/duplex directly from the board. It may not match what CM displays.

A useful command to use to double check speed and duplex of the IPSIs to see both what they are configured to and what they have negotiated to if you are on the newer versions of CM (5 and above I think it was) is the Status QOS command

I thought, depending on version that this was normal operation resulting from a safeguard built into the IPSI's to prevent DOS attacks. All of my IPSI's react this way and they are functioning normally.
