    Aura S8800 Midsize Multiple OS

    Hi ,

    Does anyone know how to install multiple OS ( linux redhat 5 (32)/ window 2008) on aura system platform? current system is S8800(dual server) with cm 5.2.1. First server I'm running MBT Templates and on 2nd server I would like to install One-X portal and other window server applications. 2nd server running on linux 62bits and one-x need 32 bits version.

    So,anyone knows how to install multiple OS on aura system platform and how many VM accept by aura system platform. Please share your experiences on this.

    Avaya doesn't support multiple OS on single S8800 system platform.

      Actually, SP does support running both LINUX and Windows VMs on the same S8800 or now Common Server (HP / DELL).

      If you go to the install doc for AURA Conferencing 6.0, it states to install these VMs on System Platform: the Conf Bridge, Web Portal and Conf Manager run under LINUX and CRS (Client Reg) and AWC (Avaya Web Conf) run under windows. It also goes through how to configure SP for both the Win and LINUX templates (VMs).
