    External Mask

    Hi,

    I am new to the Avaya ASA v 6.0 and I'm trying to find out the process on how to mask the caller ID of an internal ext when calling outside destinations.
    Any help on this topic will be greatly appreciated.

    Check the trunk settings to verify whether it is using private or public numbering. I use public for trunks to the PSTN. Change the private or public numbering table, instructing it to outpulse something such as the main number for either a range of extensions or someone's specific extension over that trunk number.
