Error SRPT0254 on CS1000

    Error SRPT0254 on CS1000

    Hi all,
    We have with our Avaya CS1000, since a couple of days ago when an IP Phone (1210 and 1220) is disconnected o rebooted, it does not start again. The phones get the IP from the DHCP and confirm the TN information, but after that the screen stays in blank. When I login to the cs I get this error:

    SRPT254 Failed the malloc for pNewSessionBlk. errno(0) OK

    How can I resolve this? where could be the problem?

    Hi Amedina,

    The error definition is as below :

    SRPT0254
    Failed the memory allocation for x. errno(y) z, Where:
    x = the variable or structure name,
    y = the operating system error number
    z = the operating system error text description
    Contact your technical support group.
    Severity: Major

    This seems to be a memory allocation issue for which we have no existing solutions available nor the issue was debugged. It would need Tier-4 involvement to determine the issue. Hence, you need to proceed with an SR for Avaya.
