Installing Presence services 6.2.6

Hi

I'm installing presence services 6.2.6 and I have two questions:
1st: During installation, it requests SMGR login and password, are these the web interface login of SMGR or I have to create special user on SMGR for presence or there is default entries?

2nd: after install 6.2.0, I have to install all service packs and all patches till reach to 6.2.6 because I already installed 6.2.0 then 6.2.1 with all patches but when try to install 6.2.2.0 or 6.2.3.0 it fail?

Hi,

first of all, what is the version of your System Manager?

try this,

upload the PS-6.2.3.0-317.zip to your Presence Services

execute unzip PS-6.2.3.0-317.zip -d PS-INSTALLER-6.2.3
cd PS-INSTALLER-6.2.3
./PS-6.2.3.0-317.sh --force-clean
this will desinstall the presence services from your system, then reboot
then edit the autoInstall.properties with your system information
the install again with ./PS-6.2.3.0-317.sh -ci autoInstall.propierties

finally you can patch to PS-6.2.3.4-317 and then to PS-6.2.6.0-38

tell me if you have any error, i have done this in Midsize Enterprise and in VMWare.
