No outbound caller ID

    No outbound caller ID

    We have one one-X phone that isn't displaying any caller ID information when making outside calls.

    I checked short codes and there's only one, which every other station has. I also tried reregistering the phone, and that didn't change anything.

    Any other recommendations on what I can try to get the caller ID to display?

    public-unknown-numbering plan maybe? What type of circuit are the calls being delivered over?

      Not sure what the public-unknown-numbering plan is. Our IP Office is on an MPLS network.

        Public numbering is a table in CM. For an IPO, the system will outpulse the number on the incoming call route associated with the extension if no shortcode is used to explicitly outpulse CID.

          Also, check the station. In CM there is the field "Per Station CPN - Send Calling Number?" that will turn on/off Caller ID just for that one station. I haven't worked on IP Office much but I would suspect a similar field.
