SMGR 6.3 installation

I'm looking to install SMGR on our 6.3 Simplex System Platform.

I have been reading an Avaya document on deploying SMGR. I have a question on SMGR installation.

Installation requirements say I need to have system platform 6.3.4.08007.0 patch installed. Currently I have 6.3.1 installed and 6.3.6 is the latest.

I have 6.3.6 uploaded. Do I just uninstall the existing patch (6.3.1) and then install 6.3.6 then proceed with SMGR? Or is installing the patch more involved then that?

The document says to install SMGR via System_Manger_06_03_Version_II.iso followed by System_Manger_6.3.13_r5003336.bin. I have the ISO burned to DVD and ready to go.

When installing the SMGR template on System Platform, make sure System Platform is at the release stated in the SMGR release notes. After installing SMGR, you can then patch System Platform to the version stated in the release notes for the latest SMGR service pack.

SMGR and System Platform need to be upgraded incrementally and the versions must be in alignment at each step.
