    Long Duration Calls

    We have a question of our customer about "Long Duration Calls".
    Especially outgoing calls won't be correct disconnected and Held for days or weeks.
    Do you have any Statement about this phenomen??

    Hi Hhoech,

    Please check from the Call record team(CDR).if they says we are capturing the same data which Avaya CM is sending.
    To rectify this you have to enable the MST on avaya CM. please contact the Avaya guys they will enable it.

      Long Duration Calls - more details

      One of the possibilities is that Communication Manager goes not receive the disconnect message from the far end, hence it still thinks the call is active.

      Could you please provide more details on the type/nature of the calls? (are the calls going over SIP trunks, or H.323, or are these to another Communication Manager, or are these to land line, long distance calls, or calls to mobile phones, are these automatically generated calls using CTI, etc...)

        I had the same issue but was in the incoming calls, the pstn was not sending the disconection tone so we have to configure it in the system, are you using analog trunks?
