    CM 7.0 & MCC's

I am CM 5.2.1 running duplicated S8720's with 3 PNs. Two of the PNs are MCC cabinets with 5 carriers each, located at my main location. The third PN is an ESS server running CM 5.2.1 with 2 G650s at a remote location.

We are going to move to CM 7.x next year and I am told that CM 7.x does not support MCCs. Is this correct? If so, what makes a PN with IPSI & MedPro on a G650 different from a PN with IPSI and MedPro on a MCC? I totally get if they weren't already IP connected.

I am aware that this would be less of a problem if we were VOIP, but we're not. We have so many network issues and finger pointing I couldn't imagine going VOIP just for CM 7.x (unless I got my own network, hmmmm).

I've been told CM7 does support any IPSI connected cabinet, including SCC and MCC cabinets, provided the IPSI firmware is up-to-date.

Thanks. Logically I would think it would. I understand that Avaya no longer sells/supports the conversion of MCCs to IP connected.
