AAC-Avaya Communicator and adhoc conferencing

We have AAC7, CM6 SM, SMGR, using Avaya Communicator.
We are trying to get the adhoc conferencing to work; we have the uri set in the AAC and in the client but every time we try it we get a failure in SM trace.

Anyone have any experience with adhoc conference?

Hi,

Please confirm how you are initiating a Adhoc call.
Call flow will depend on adhoc call initiation type .

While on a call using Avaya Communicator, I select the drop down arrow and select "Dial New Participant..." I dial new call and select "Add to Call". We then get a message "The Conference could not be created."

Hi,

This could be due to AC client not initiating the request with AAC with proper refer.
This needs further troubleshooting with Log collection on AC client and ASM.
I would recommend to please raise a Service Request with Avaya.
