One-X Communicator R6 and C++ problems

I have huge problems with one customer. Customer is engineering company and they use all kind of environment variables for C++. Users use mostly One-X Communicators and I get lots of requests for One-X Communicator not working and/or not install at all. Installing is gone around by uninstalling ALL C++ versions, install one within One-X Communicator package and then install what they need for they business. Other problem where One-X Communicator stops working I haven’t found solution yet. Both problems cause lots of unnecessary work and I hope someone knows how could be solved nice and quick way. Operating systems are mostly Windows 7 64bit.
