IP Soft Phone vs one-x communicator

HI all:

what is the defirence between ip soft phone and one-x ommunicator, and why their licenses are separated from each other on disp sys cus page #9?

One of the differences is one-X Communicator R5.2 and later is supported on Windows 7 and IP Softphone will never be supported on Windows 7. Another difference is one-X Communicator has the ability to integrate with all the one-X product line in a seemless fashion and IP Softphone does not.

IP Soft Phone vs one-x communicator

IP softphone is the old version of Avaya softphone client. OneX Communicator is the new version and therefore replaces the old IP softphone. Moving forward, OneX Communicator is the softclient application supported on Avaya platform.
