Avaya using DMCC with multiregistration call recording mode

We have used the multi-registration call recording mode on Avaya CM6.3 with both the Calabrio and Nice Engage recording platforms and we are experiencing multiple dropped calls within our environment. We also have agents receiving many calls back to back without even noticing it because the call drops as soon as it gets to the station. We have opened multiple tickets with Avaya and our recording vendors and we have not been able to find the solution. We know the single step conferencing mode of recording works, however is a more expensive solution. Has anyone experienced this issue in your environment and if so what was the root cause?

It sounds like a common issue with multi registration mode. Dropped calls might stem from resource constraints or compatibility issues. You might try increasing the SIP session capacity or prioritizing network traffic. Single-step conferencing, though costlier, could be more stable.
