Sip Trunk between Avaya Cloud and Asterisk

    Hi good afternoon,

Hello everyone, I had never written here before, my name is Alberto

I am trying to configure a sip trunk between avaya container and an Asteris pbx but I can't get them to communicate.
-I see the ASterisk register but Avaya doesn't answer anything, has anyone tried or managed to do this?

    Thanks.

@dordle Certainly! Setting up a SIP trunk between Avaya and Asterisk involves ensuring:

    1. Network Connectivity: Both systems can reach each other over the network, with necessary ports open.
    2. Configuration: Properly configuring SIP trunk settings on both Avaya (sender) and Asterisk (receiver), including IP addresses, authentication, and routing.
    3. Monitoring: Using logs and debugging tools to track SIP traffic and diagnose any issues.

Ensure compatibility and consult documentation for specific configuration details.

Hello Alberto, welcome to the forum! Setting up SIP trunks can be tricky. I haven't worked with Avaya containers myself, but perhaps double-checking your configuration against a guide might help.
