Nortel 3050 configuring to work with iPhone/Android's?

We have a functional 3050 VPN and want to configure it to also allow iPhones and Androids to establist l2tp vpn connectivity. The devices attempt to connect but the trace errors are so cryptic that we can't seem to stumble upon the right set of configuration settings.
    - does anyone have a detailed step-by-step config for a 3050 to allow iPhone connectivity?
    - alternatively, does anyone know any reasonable 3050 experts in the Oakville, Mississauga areas that we could contract the task to?
    Much appreciated.

Android L2TP clients are currently not supported with any 8.0.x software release.

iPhone/iPad/MAC OSX L2TP clients are supported using default system parameters as of software release 8.0.11.0+. Attempts on earlier software revisions may sporadically work, however iOS clients use specific port ranges that were unsupported prior to 8.0.11.0.
