We have an ERS8600 with 8692SF in slot 5 and 6 in a HA mode reporting issues with slot/card 5. Card 6 is running fine. So, we tested the card 5 in slot 6 and it didn't come up. However, testing card 6 in slot 5 didn't come up as well, although it's fine in the original slot.
Could I say that we have a bad slot? Or can't this test prove anything as I'm trying to boot card 6 in slot 5 without another CPU? I would like to know it before ordering a new card.
